Barbie Lopez is the Digital Accessibility Consultant, Sr. with the UA Disability Resource Center’s (DRC) Digital and Physical Access Team. She consults with campus regarding accessibility and universal design in the physical, digital, work, and academic environments. She regularly presents to a variety of groups regarding accessible design and believes that both accessibility and user experience are closely related. She is passionate about teaching how when universal design, accessibility, and user experience are included during the design process, an equitable and inclusive experience is created for all.
