Julie Christen is a PhD student in Rhetoric, Composition, and the Teaching of English. She teaches foundations writing, technical writing, and user experience research methods in the English Department and works on instructional support for General Education. Her research areas include technical and professional communication and user experience, and she's interested in merging UX research methods with instructional design practices, particularly in efforts towards socially just curricula. When she's not working, she loves hiking with her dog, Lily.
