Rebecca Blakiston
Rebecca Blakiston founded UX@UA, where she led the organizing team from 2017-2022. She was UX librarian and strategist at the University of Arizona Libraries, where she consulted on UX methods and coordinated user research to help make informed, thoughtful decisions to improve the student and faculty experience.
In June 2022, she transitioned to Senior UX Researcher at Ad Hoc, a digital services company dedicated to improving how the federal government serves people. Still in Tucson, she appreciates staying connected with the local UX community on campus, in Tucson, and beyond.
She has expertise in UX research, content strategy, UX writing, information architecture, and UX in libraries. She's happy to meet for coffee or tea (over Zoom or in person in Tucson) and talk with you if you're interested in pursuing a UX career, especially within libraries, higher education, or government settings.
