As the Director, Technology & Innovation for Digital Learning at the University of Arizona, Sarah Mauet is thrilled to work at the intersection of creativity, technology and education where she can apply her passion for UX and design thinking. As Creative Director, she works with talented teams to take a human-centered design approach to the production of multimedia for online course materials, the design of websites and D2L courses, the evaluation and support of instructional technologies, and the delivery of multimodal training. In addition to holding a Master of Science in Graphic Information Technology from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University, Sarah has completed design thinking training with IDEO as well as the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford University (the d.school). Sarah joined UX@UA in January 2019 to help ideate and launch new UX initiatives at the University of Arizona. When she finally puts down the Post-it Notes, Sarah enjoys traveling, trail running, and simultaneously reading several good books.
